If your looking at this webpage its assumed you want to know *how* to add the test channels that ITV are currently broadcasting & want to know what frequencys are being used .

(NOTE: since this webpage was made a few weeks ago , The test names like R11 3-4 have been replaced with proper tv channel names by sky tv - but the process works the same way)





<01> Press the SERVICES button and select option 4 SYSTEM SETUP
<02> Select option 4 ADD CHANNELS
<03> You will see something like this
<04> Using the keypad on your remote control - type in      10832

(you dont need to type in the dot - it appears automatically)
<05> Press the DOWN ARROW BUTTON once
<06> Using the LEFT / RIGHT ARROW BUTTON change this to read    H
<07> Press the DOWN ARROW BUTTON once
<08> Using the LEFT / RIGHT ARROW BUTTON change this to read    22.0
<09> Press the DOWN ARROW BUTTON once
<10> Using the LEFT / RIGHT ARROW BUTTON change this to read    5/6
<11> Press the DOWN ARROW BUTTON once

Press SELECT - and it will scan for channels on *that* frequency

NOTE: when you press SELECT it might take a few seconds for the screen to change
<12> As you can see - its found 9 channels    ( 07 / november / 2001 )
<13> Using the UP / DOWN ARROW BUTTONS

Highlight the channel you want to store & press the YELLOW BUTTON to mark each one with a tick
<14> Press SELECT and you will be informed the channels have been stored

YEE HAA!

THATS IT - JOB DONE
<15> Pressing SELECT will bring you back to this screen - in case you want to add more channels

( just repeat the process - using a different frequency ..... if wanted )
<16> TO VIEW THE CHANNELS

Press SERVICES and select option 6 OTHER CHANNELS
<17> As you can see - some channels have proper names & some dont
<18> Using the UP / DOWN ARROW BUTTONS

Highlight the channel you want to watch & press SELECT
<19> Enjoy your viewing


And *NO* , These channels *CANT* be added to the EPG
